Well it would be me who falls 10 feet into thorns and stinging nettles -_- (And I wanted to make a good first impression!)
I swear that absolutely nothing here is exaggerated.
Tess and I were round Tania's house. The three of us passed the phone between each other. On the other end was Tess' new boyfriend Steven, who I'd never met before. We were trying to pursuade him to cycle down to hang out. I said to him ''Come on, you get to meet me. I'll make it memorable.''
We eventually pursuaded him and we walked through the town center, and met with him and his friend Joe by the canal. We went to the shop, got some sour licker things and ice-lollies. And then we met with Henry, this guy who moved to our town that day, but who we'd talked to for a few months on Facebook.
After he left, Steven and Joe suggested going to Cene Hill to go on this rope swing. Me and Tania stole their bikes and rode there. I was sweating like a sweaty fool and was thankful at the time that i was wearing shorts and a strappy top.
At the time.
Tania and I had a few backy rides off each other up and down the canal which was lots of fun as I was screaming and annoying the sunbathers.

Then we came to the rope swing which was at the top of this steep dirt hill. We all screamed when Steven went first because when he swung out he was like 10ft from anything. Everyone had a go. They tried to pursuade me to do it. I eventually agreed to. Why oh why?
I swing, I lose my grip, I scream, and the rope leaves my hand, and then i'm falling...fallling...falling (apparently i roly poly in the air at some point though i don't really remember that). and then i hit the ground and i'm tumbling and i land into a bush of thorns and stinging nettles. And there are screams and then Steven skids down the hill and appears in front of me; 'SHIT!ARE YOU OK!???'
It was very embarassing.
Tess came down too. Everyone was suddenly sweating. It's weird how much you suddenly sweat when you're scared sh*tless. I thought I was going die! Tess said that she thought 'Oh my God, Stef's dead!'
Steven said I should probably get out of the thorns but i reaaaally didn't want to move. He helped me out and he's like 'What hurts?' I told him everything, because it really was, and then he asked what hurt the most and I eventually decided it was my ankle, so he did this thing where he made me push against his hand and stuff to determine if it was broken and he thought it was because it began to swell -- and apparently there's a delay in swelling if it's broken.
Now we had to somehow get to the top of the steep dirt hill. I couldn't put any pressure or weight on my foot so I had to hop up with Joe and Steven helping me... we were sliding all over the place. IT WAS THE MOST EXHAUSTING THING I HAVE EVER DONE. And i was sort of in agony at the time too.
I finally reach the top of the hill and I sit down upon the dirt and Steven looks at my foot a bit more and then they all decide to dial 999 (despite my protests that I'm fine) and Joe's repeating what they're saying to me ''Are you alert!? Count to ten!'' and we have to wait a few minutes for the paramedics to come.
Tess and Tania are either side of me. Tess is like ''I'm so sorry!' and Tania's like ''Stef, please cry, we might get to ride in the air ambulance!''
-_-
And then Steven has to ride down the canal to flag down the paramedics car. By now my foot is the size of a blimp. Apparently I have lots of scratches and i'm bleeding but I couldn't even tell.
Mow kitty.
And then we see, far, far below us, the abulance car thing arriving and Tania's like 'Oh my God Stef, that's for you!' I was like 'I know! It's really embarassing!'.
And then Steven and the paramedic guy finally come and he's all nice and green and he goes 'Alright then, what have you been up to?'
And I say 'Not much, you?'
He was very nice. Made me wiggle my toes and stuff, and prodded me a bit. He decided it wasn't broken, just a contusion or something and the swelling would go down in a few days, I just need to take some pills and things.
Then we had to get back to his car somehow. I had to do this limp thing saying 'ow!' every half-step, with him supporting me, down the grassy slope that lead to steps which lead to where the car had parked. It took a long time and we eventually decided to try putting me on Stevens bike whilst the paramedic and Tess pushed me along. It was kinda embarassing going past people.
Then I had to hop down the steps which was very tiring also and then he drove the car further up to me which I was thankful for. I got in the front, thanked Steven and Joe for their help. Steven says 'Nice meeting you!' I said 'I told you I'd make it memorable.'
Then they leave and Tess and Tania get in the back. I apologise over and over again. Tania says it's fine, this is exciting. The paramedic has to fill out lots of paperwork and then we're drving back through the town center and back to Tania's house (It reeeeaaaally hurt when going over the spee bumps). Tania texts my mum for me, and she's already there when we arrive. She talks with the paramedic (He says I was no hassle and lil' ray of sunshine :D) and then helps me hop into her car. We take Tess home.
That night I had the hard task of taking a bath (as instructed by the paramedic). If it hurts too much today I'm meant to get it x-rayed. It's not that bad but I still can't put any weight on it. And ugh, look at the state of my legs.

Thats just one leg. I have similar scratches/bruises all over my legs, thighs, back and arms.
I'm totally the talk of Facebook now. But then Tania's status did manage to sound like I was dying in hospital or something. LOL. I had 26 comments. And I signed on MSN everyone (even kids in year 8) are liked 'I HEARD WHAT HAPPENED!'
And my enemy and next door neighbor for the past 5 years who i havent spoken to for almost 5 years was like 'What happened and where?' which was strange.
I woke up today and the swelling's gone down a tad but now, but i still cant walk, and I just feel so sore allll over my body. I'm not happy. This is my summer man. Tess and Tania came to my village to go in Ryans pool with Abbie. The four of them (I barely know Ryan and Abbie) stopped by to say hi. Which was nice. It's soooooooooooooooooo hot today and I've been stuck, home alone, in my room, the hottest room in the house. It sucks.
Ah well, I'm just glad it wasn't anything worse :\ xxxx
