Andrea "Andie" Gayle Way, of Sussex County, New Jersey, died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the age of 32. Born on November 9, 1977, in Oak Brook, Illinois, Andie studied classical piano throughout most of her childhood. After being involved in the drama club at Hinsdale Central High School in Hinsdale, Illinois she graduated from the school in 1995. In 1999, Andie earned a Bachelor's Degree in Music History from the University of California-Berkeley. She then spent several years as a stylist for various motion pictures and music videos filmed in and around Los Angeles, before becoming employed with Riot Squad Records in New York City in 2006. She developed many music video concepts before ultimately directing videos herself for several artists both in the U.S. and in Europe. She was nominated for, and the recipient of, various MTV Music Video Awards from 2007-2009 for her work in the music industry.

In July 2007, Andie married the best friend she had ever known, and in September 2008, they welcomed their son into the world. She enjoyed ballroom dancing, fencing, and travelling with her husband. She enjoyed playing piano, coloring, and reading with her son. Spending time with friends and relatives meant the world to her. Andie actively supported the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, volunteered at the Children's Hospital of New Jersey, and was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Belleville, New Jersey.

Andie is survived by her beloved husband, Gerard A. Way, and their son, Logan Michael Way of Sussex County, New Jersey; her mother, Diana F. Redmond of Tinley Park, Illinois; her father and step-father, Steven A. Redmond and Charles F. Koehler of Brentwood, California; her paternal grandfather, Joseph A. Redmond of Oak Brook, Illinois; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Marine Cpl. Logan A. Redmond, by her paternal grandmother, Elizabeth "Betty" Redmond, and by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Ann Coffield.

The family will receive friends from 2-7pm Monday, March 15th, 2010 at Megaro Funeral Home, 503 Union Avenue in Belleville, New Jersey, with a Vigil for the Deceased at 7pm. On Tuesday, March 16th, 2010, friends may visit from 1-2pm at Megaro Funeral Home, before a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Belleville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation; 60 East 56th Street, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
