Katsumi Tells All: The Uninvited

SO I know I promised, I would be see The Orphan today, but the online movie time thing was wrong, so I made a trip to the mall for no reason, and had to come home and rent a movie.

Which is why I will be doing this one on The Uninvited, I’ve seen this movie a bunch, but no one else had, so it was a pretty good refresher, and seeing the reactions from the fam at how it ended was priceless.

Anyway sorry to disapoint everyone, but I will be making another attempt to see The Orphan Sunday so everyone wish me luck.

Holy cow can we say crazy bitches in this movie? No we all know the real questing is, who is the crazy one is it sweet little Anna, or is it the some what evil other woman in her dads life (Rachael) ?

So as I am watching this movie for like the fifth time it dawns on me, that this movie is kind of like Hide & Seek, staring Robert Denero & Dakota Fanning. Now before anyone says I am saying it’s a rip off that’s not what I am saying at all, personally I think this movie is much, much, much better.

Not to long in to the movie we meet Anna’s sister Alex and I don’t know about you guys but even though she acted like a bitch through most the movie she seemed the most san. So just as Anna is about to leave the crazy place after revealing a rather disturbing dream, we find out she cut her wrist and they bleed a lot. What I wonder is, is this a re-accruing thing she does, or was her cry out for help, to as her sister put it “Discover her inner psycho.?”

Next I would like to point out her shrink what the hell was that man thinking telling a girl who’s probably no older the six-teen, to go kiss boys have fun and get in to trouble, doesn’t he know what boys that age want? Thankfully because of Anna’s disturbing dream we know she knows what they want, though if I was her I would have punched ol boy in the damn face tell me he loves me and then says some crazy messed up shit like that I don't think so.

I have to say I love the part where they are in the kitchen re-hanging the chalkboard. But seriously what kind of example is this movie trying to set for young girls? I just don’t think all the drining of alcohol and saying “Guys like girls with a pretty mouth.” Are things that should be taught to young girl, well actually teen girls, but still.

Now there really is something I don’t get if Rachale isn’t who Anna says she is, the how the hell did she get the pearls, I mean I think I might know but I am not two sure, so I really want you thoughts. Oh and another thing I really find intresting that I didn’t notice was every time someone was around Anna’s sister was no where to be found wasn’t that epic?

And oh my gosh I think the greatest line ever from this movie isn ”I did what you told me to do I finished what I started.” I swear people is that not like one of the most evilest thing to come out of this girls mouth, its just epicly creepy, goes right along with the ending.

Anyway, this movie is rated PG 13 and I actually think that’s pretty good for this movie, though I wish they would have made it R, that way they could have played up some more on the scary stuff, the only thing I do not find suitable for this movie at a PG 13 rating is what the two girls are playing with that they get from soon to be step mommies drawer. So I the one of a kind weird-O Katsumi give this movie a grade A, so go rent it, its worth at least watching once.

So I have to say I am so very sorry for how un-organized this is but I have had like three hours of sleep and its right now two A.A so I’m a wee bit tired, also I am dealing with some things that well I just really don’t have anyone to talk to about so go me!

Also again I will be trying to see Orphan on Sunday and as soon as I find a copy of Coraline on DvD I will be doing the review for that, so leave me your thoughts and what not.
