Labeling people
I was browsing the article section as I ofetn do and I went to the 'People' category. While there I was struck with how many articles there were with all the same message- Don't Label People. My first thought was yeah labeling people is kinda bad....And then I realized what song I was listening to and agreeing with. The song was "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist." And that got me thinking....Labeling people is wrong but it's always going to be there and as long as you aren't going around commiting hate crimes or something like that what is really wrong with labeling people. If people are really insulted by what others think they are I would think they could put them straight and if they don't listen then screw them, who needs them? It seems kinda stupid that people are being insulted by others saying that they're a geek or emo or weird or whatever else. Most of them are just like Boo Hoo! Poor me! I've seen harder things than them like my brother dieing, my parent's getting a divorce, watching my parents bitch to each other every other week, my mom getting engaged to a guy that had the aura of a child molester, my sister and brother bullying me all my life, everyone thinking I'm exactly like my sister and never being treated like my own person, haveing my best friend stab me in the back and then ditch me for people that don't really care about her. I know I'm ranting now, really sorry about that, now I'm duing the poor me thing but still. My point here is that there are people that are less fortunate then them yet they're still self pitying themselves. And now I have to go eat so I can't write anymore.

People need to accept the fact that whether or not you're a soup can or not, you're going to get labeled. Simple as that. It's human nature to be a little bit judgemental. Some people, though, do take it a little too far.

Labeling people is a way humans cope.
It's a way to help them understand people. Everyone does it, though some do it more than others.
I agree with you; it's always gonna be there. There will always be boxes that someone will try to put you in.
