Katsumi Tells All: Orphan
It’s a little later then I promised it would be, but in my defense I have just not been able to get a ride, but that don’t matter point is its up now so enjoy. Please be warned there maybe some unintended spoilers, I’m trying my best not to but there is just so much I have to talk about with this movie it just might slip out, so sorry in advanced.
This is something I rarly do but for the second time I will be posting a Synopsis for this movie and it will be done just so I can simply tear it to shreds, only where it need be of course:
Devastated by the loss of their unborn baby, Kate (Vera Farmiga) and John (Peter Sarsgaard) Seriously this is so wrong, the only one you even see being devastated is the mother Kate, or should I say sedated instead? decide to adopt a child. At the orphanage, both feel drawn to a little girl (Isabelle Fuhrman) named Esther, Again so wrong, I mean the mother is drawn to the child but only after she goes looking for her husband who accidentally walked in on the child painting. and soon the couple take their new daughter home. But when a dangerous series of events unfolds, Kate begins to suspect that there is something evil lurking behind the child's angelic exterior.
Okay well that was kind of fun, but I think I will stop now. My first real thought when going in to see this movie was it was going to scary, but as always I was proved wrong, guys is it just me or does that happen a lot to me?
Anyway though it was not as scary as I had hopped, it didn’t fail me on the creepy part, or the jumps, this movie had some good jumps in it, so if you’re a big fan of stuff popping up out of no where then this is so a movie for you.
Now I know there are a lot of you sick freaks on here who write some crazy shit, not saying it’s a bad thing just telling the blunt truth, I do have to tell it all right, even if it’s the nitty gritty stuff.
Anyway back on topic you guys are going to get to this one part in the movie and think right on we picked a good movie while other people are going to be discusted and want to leave, I am telling you all now, both thoughts would be wrong do not walk out of the movie.
Yes what you will be seeing is very sick and very twisted, but holy shit, it makes one hell of a plot twist and I F-ing love Hollywood for making a movie like that and actually being daring enough to do what they did since it could have discusted and outraged so many people.
Okay moving on to the twist in the plot, its not really something you would ever suspect, a friend of mine went and seen it said that this twist was so crazy I might not understand it, first thing I think is holy shit this movie is going to be like Stephen King crazy twist every where.
That’s so not how it happened so if that’s the kind of twists you like you may not want to wast the ass tone of money it coast to get in to a movie now and days, but if you like simple unsuspecting plots give this movie a shot its well worth the money.
I’m actually hoping to get to go see it again. Oh my gosh I can not believe they did a play ground scene, how many times can you do a scene like that before its over played? I mean seriously that’s like putting a bathroom scene in horror movie, its so played out, really who writes these things?
Okay well I think I have said my peace and my take on this movie, I give it an A grade, go see it, well worth the money if you like jumpy creepy movies.
But so not letting anyone under the age of like 14 maybe even 15 go see it, even if the plot twist is revaled in the movie still not a good thing to take the younger ones to see, since it could give them some idea’s or show things they might not understand.
Well I am finally done with this rather long review, but I just couldn’t help my self this is such a good movie. Again I tried my best to keep it spoiler free, in the comments let me know what you thought of the movie, loved it, hated it… What you think of this review and what you would like to see more reviews of!
