'Cause You Light Up My Life
I got inspired last night when I was praying. For two reasons:
1) I had the song Humans by The Scene Aesthetic stuck in my head. Beautiful song, I suggest you go listen to it (: (PSSST! It's at the bottom of this journal!)

2) I've always wanted to write a more powerful original story. I've dabbled into into original fiction for a few months now, and I think I'm at the stage where I can write a story like the one I have planned.
Here's the basic plot of the story: Lacey Palmer is your ordinary girl. She's just trying to find her way through this tough journey we call life. But things get harder for her at the beginning of her senoir year when out of the blue, her parents decide to get a divorce. Stuck in a vicious custody battle between the two people she loves the most, Lacey is faced with a tough decision: who to live with. Things get even more confusing when Lucas Tucker and Blake Daley come into the picture, causing an array of confusion, adventure, and romance in Lacey's life. And by the end of the school year, Lacey will be a completely different person.
I still have a lot of details to work out, and unlike my other stories, I'm going to plan this one out. Normally I just go with the flow and write when I have inspiration, but I really want to finish this story and make it amazing. So I'm sorry, but updates will probably come slower for awhile. At least until I have this story figured out.
The release date for this is going to be September 7th. This IS subject to change, depending on how quickly or slowly I can plan this story out.
I hope you guys are excited, because I know I am :D
