When one door closes another one opens.

So when my lovable pooch, Happy was still around I never left the state except once. Unfortunately she died about seven months ago. Its strange because after she died my dad, sister and I went to New Jersey, then I went to Australia, I'm going to Denmark next summer and I might be going to Orlando, Florida next spring with my school.

I don't know why but I think I'm traveling so much now because when we had Happy we never went anywhere. We weren't the kind of people who put their pet in a kennel partly because we got her from a shelter, she had been rescued from a neglectful family. Because they neglected her, she got into mischief, when she got into mischief she was physically abused. So we never left her alone for too long.

Anyway, I'm just reminded of the whole "when one door closes another one opens" Happy showed me loyalty and love and I got to show her the same and now that she's gone the door to adventure and exploration has opened. I miss her so much and I'm crying just writing about this but towards the end she was suffering so she's better off now and I think we all have the need to just leave and start going on vacations. My dad and my sister don't really like traveling but me and my mom have this hunger to just see what the rest of the world has to offer. Partly because me and my mom both have a thirst for knowledge.

My mom is from Denmark, and that place is filled with history and there are so many opportunities to learn. I want to get to know my family, and visit museums. My sister just wants to go to all these amusement parks. I'm not gonna lie, I love amusement parks as much as the next person but how often do you go to a place like that? All amusement parks are alike the history is different everywhere you go.

I don't know these are just my thoughts at the present moment.
