Not only a Freshmen, but a Freshmen that's going to a new school
I guess I'm pretty lucky to be picked out of so many people to go to this Charter School, but I'm getting beyond nervous. I know only about 4-5 people from my town that are going to this new school, and none of them I'm very close to.
I'm generally not an outwardly outgoing person, I talk if you talk to me. I'm not the one that introduces themselves to everybody and automatically makes friends. I'm never hated, and people generally like me, but I'm not good with recognizing those people.
This school is filled with the kids that want an education, but don't have the money to go to private school. So I'm pretty sure I'll be doing my best and up to my potential and with others of my level, but I just can't help but be scared.
I've always had the same friends since Elementary school. Have any of you had this situation, or close to it? And if so what did you do?

One of my best friends is going to a Charter school this year.
My suggestion for you is to just be nice, you'll attract the right people who will take you in.

I'm a Freshman and I went to a new school.
However, my fellow Junior High Schoolers and I all went to the same school, so I still know people.
But, since the School is so big and since there are so many students, I never see any of my friends, or people I know.
I just had my first day today, and I was nervous as heck. But, I went, and I loved it. (:

Actually, I'm in this sort of situation right now- a sophomore going into a brand new school. Be glad all of you freshmen will have some element of newness- hopefully you guys won't be too separated into groups or anything yet. Take advantages of any chances to make friends!
(Haha, if that made NO sense, it's because I'm not quite awake yet xD)

i'm a freshman at a new school too. well kinda, i went to middle school here for like two months but i'm still fairly new i guess :P
