Writing
Does it ever freak you out, writers, when you see your story in the stories section? Like when you just finish a new chapter of a story or a one shot and you post it then see it listed when you go to the stories page?
For me, when I post a new one shot, which is pretty much all I write, I always become really nervous. Its my creation, like my baby, and I'm just putting it out there for the world to be judged. Doesn't that freak you out? And if it doesn't, how do you get over that? Its something you wrote from your own imagination and you put it on a site that tons of people can read. Sometimes, I just want to disable comments on it so I don't have to know how badly someone hates it. But at the same time I love hearing feedback so my writing improve. I guess you could say its a love hate relationship.
So I want to know from you all, as writers, your thoughts on posting/publishing your stories/journals/poems/articles for the world to see. Does it scare you? Make you nervous? Excite you?

I love when my stories/journals are posted for the world to see, but I also love comments, good or bad. In short, it excites me.

It excites me to no end actually. I think all of us writers view our stories and tthigs as our own, as our babies.. But for me, I love showing people my work and I love hearing what they think of it, good and bad.
Ive done a lot to improve the way I write, and it has paid off A LOT.. I'd like to become an author one day, so I have to show people my work and be able to accept the good and bad views :)
I use to be nervous, but I realize it is all a process :D
