A few questions??
Okay...answer this question:
Why would someone go out with someone who is JUST like their ex-girlfriend/boyfriend?
Answer me that.
Tell me...why someone would act the same with this new person like they would act with their previous bf/gf?
Answer this question also...why does that person think their ex would really care?
It's rediculous. The ex doesn't care about the other person one bit, so why pretend that they do?
Why, on facebook, does the person send a message to their ex saying "hey! have you seen my new gf/bf?! they remind me so much of you! it kinda makes me miss you..."
If you have a new bf/gf, why would you send a message like that to your ex?
Now I'm not saying who it is, it's not even about me actually, but answer these questions, please. I'm dying to know the answers.

They probably still have left over feelings for this person and, if they know there's no chance of getting back together with them, they'll go for something close to it. I see no sense in this. You should be getting over the person, not looking for someone just like them. But whatever floats their boats, I guess.

Because they miss that person and they want the next best thing. Then they also want to be close to the ex in case they need to go back for something, trust me, Ive been there.
