Read or Die, Yes This is Katsumi Tells All: Saw VI (6)
[center] So I would have had this up sooner but I had to work so blah and then well stuff came up, so deal with it being up now kay’s? So in odd Katsumi fashion I am yet again going to tear a plot thing to shreds….
So I am going to start off by saying why the hell do we really need any more flipping Saw movie, for thoese of you who don’t already know Twisted pictures has already contracted to do up to Saw nine and ten is in the works.
Please don’t get me wrong I love the movies I actually look forward to them every Halloween, but honestly what is the point in making so many to where your franchise becomes like the Jason, Freddy, Childs Play, Halloween. Ones, where you have to many sequels and people just give up, any way I will shut the hell up now on the review.
My comments on the plot will be bold. Also there may be spoilers.
Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw's legacy. Who the hell writes the plot, for these movie? Seriously, didn’t we find out in Saw 5 that it was him who was doing it? Also didn’t we watch Strahm die at the end of 5? However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw's grand scheme is finally understood There is no grand scheme so to speak, I mean what they “reveal” Notice my air quotes is something most people probably figured out by about the fourth movie, it could just be me but a lot of people probably saw that coming a mile away.
So I have to say, I didn’t think the Saw series could get any worse on blood then the 3rd one that one was just sick and ewww, but I loved every minute of it.. Still this one took the cake which is a lie, the cake I mean… This like most the movies starts out with a trap staring up, and it was so gross…
I have to give it to them, when it comes to this trap, it was odd but a nice change… I think what we find out next was probably the most shocking discovery in the movie for me other then one other part.
SPOILER ALERT IF YOU WANT TO READ HIGH LIGHT ITS IN WHITE
In Saw four we’re lead to believe there is a chance Detective Prez, is going to die, because of the doll trap, Saw five we learn that she really did die in the Hospital after a viste from Hoffman, well guess what in Saw six she makes an awesome & short live return in Saw six.
How shitty is it that they bring her back and then kill her off or do they? Which brings me to the question why the hell didn’t they just get him as soon as she was revealed to be alive, she knew it was him, from five, why did she have to let her partner die is the crazy lady trying to prove something?
So one thing I absolutely adored from this movie is there where a whole lot of flash backs with Jig Saw & Amanda, who by the way is in a band if you didn’t already know
But its weird because a few of the flash backs are with John’s (Jig Saw) Wife, which really confused me and freaked me out, but near the end of the movie it all makes perfect sense and on that same note I have to say HOLY SHIT BALLS!!! I cant believe what this movie revealed.
Now I guess its TRAP time:
So in all the saw movies there are some amazing and not so amazing traps..
Traps I loved will be the first ine traps I hated will the second
Saw:
I love the trap Amanda is in.
I hate the fact that the main trap was just two guys talking while trying to get out
Saw II:
The Detectives son, that was just great SAFES FTW!
The trip wire on the step.
Saw III
The gun cooler (Sp?) Trap
The guy in the thing with the pigs being dropped on him after being grounded up
Saw IV:
The last trap at the end with the Ice blocks.
The creepy guy who murdered woman
Saw V:
The Cube or box trap.
The opening trap, it was to eww and really shouldn’t have been done IMO.
And now we’re on to Saw VI I have to talk about the traps I liked and dis-liked because well that’s the freaking one I’m reviewing/
So I know everyone was wanting to see the Carousel Trap, it was the like main hyp of this movie, the makers of the film had been talking about how great it was going to be and it just so failed hard core, dud it upset me so greatly. I learned my lesson though, when it comes to HollyWood never have high hopes. But I guess it wasn’t that bad…
But I did really enjoy the acid trap, that was so great, the way they lead you on to think one thing and the a thing is going to do one action the bam, it doesn’t was epic.
So one thing I hate to see in movies is repeats, and there is a repeat trap in this movie I have no idea why but there is so here to hoping that its explained other then what I am thinking..
So over all I give this one an 8 its pretty good glade I seen it, but if your weak in the stomach or just don’t like blood you may not want to see this, and really parents don’t take your kids with you its pretty nasty…
