Zydrate comes in a syringe shot glass. A syringe shot glass? A syringe shot glass. [And the syringe shot glass goes to your mouth and is yummy.]
One bad thing about living with other Crazy Cat Ladies. Every now and then, one of them will walk up to you with a cat in hand, and demand that you "kiss it! Kiss it!" Because really, although all four of our cats are adorable, sometimes you're otherwise busy, and it just becomes a hassle.
Also, while in the pet store, Caitlin and I saw a beautiful white cat with big blue eyes, and we came uncomfortably close to adopting it and sneaking it into the house. I fear the other roommates would have murdered us and then thrown the cat outside, however, so good for us that we managed to refrain. To cheer myself up, I did buy my kitty a pretty new identification tag. I think the little pink heart is very appropriate, given her name (Cupid).
I had a good day, nevertheless! Caitlin and I explored our neighborhood, and found a plethora of absolutely fantastic shops. One of them is like a small warehouse filled with wonderful vintage clothing, and another carried costumes that I had never seen before. Another specializes in paraphernalia from the '60s and '70s, and had vinyl that almost made me drool. The two record stores we found were a little disappointing, though I did snag the soundtrack from "The Lost Boys" for a few bucks (don't laugh at me, that was an amazing find).
We also stopped by the boutique a few streets over, which I always love and hate. If you ignore the stripper-wear, they have so much amazing clothing...but it's so expensive. The workers there are always the nicest people ever, though. So perky; it makes me wonder if they spend their breaks popping pills or something, because their levels of perkiness are rather astounding.
I also have my Halloween costume:

It's going to be a good Halloween.
Speaking of which! I do have to work that night, but then I'm also going to a party down in A-Town, that Caitlin's sister is throwing. I'm greatly looking forward to it. Caitlin and her sister are both going as Genterns, and will spend the evening walking around and offering people shot glasses that are shaped like syringes (neat!), which will be filled with a sort of blue-colored alcohol that looks like it glows in black light (and there will be a black light there). It's going to be amazing. (And if you have no idea what I'm referring to, go watch this movie.)
I wish I was in Caitlin's family. As in related by blood. Every one of them is so incredibly odd. She and her sisters have decided to form a boy band, and I've been invited to join them (because boy bands always have five members, and there are only four of them). M will be The Weird One. J will be The Really Weird One. Caitlin will be The Sensitive One. K will be The Thug. And I'll be The Young Cute One. You think I'm joking, but they actually want to do this. Next year's Halloween costume, perhaps?
Speaking of boy bands...you know what I actually miss? Those '90s bands that kind of sounded like boy bands, but the members actually played instruments. Like, early Simple Plan, pre-the "Chronicles of Life and Death" Good Charlotte, early Relient K, etc. If there's one musical trend I'd like to come back, it's that one. Caitlin had an old mix CD playing while we drove around, and as soon as "Little Things" by Good Charlotte came on, I was just absolutely lost in my nostalgia. Oh, happier musical times...

New "eye photo," by the way. I've already posted my picture, and Becca's picture, and now I've got Caitlin's picture as well. (That one turned out a little too sharp, but I still like it.)
Meanwhile, Caitlin is currently drawing...me! I'm fairly thrilled by this. (She's the one that drew the picture of Jackie Flores for my No Man's Land layout, and banner - I just adore her style.)

...If I'm ever in another band, I'm naming it Big Sex Announcement.

Oh and by the way, that cat thing was hilarious. I do that with my cats all the time. "Daddy, Mommy, Poofy and Strawbee want a kiss. Kiss them" Or "Laura I know your alergic, but Poofy wants attention," hehe.

Amazing find with the Lost Boys soundtrack i'd die for that find, haha. Also, I know what you mean about the early SP, etc. First band I ever saw live was Good Charlotte I think like two years ago, I don't remember. Anywho, I know what you mean. Amazing costume, by the way.

Simple Plan were the first band I ever had a really big obsession with.
When I was like 12-13.
I love your Halloween costume.

I wish I could dress up as a gentern. Sadly though, I'm being a kitty, XD

Sometimes, I wish I wasn't related to my family. They're so disfunctional and chaotic, just like in the tv shows.
Big Sex Announcement! I start writing the story on Sunday! Woo! But I probably won't end up using Big Sex Announcement until like, chapter ten, when the main girl finally meets the band dudes! :)
I miss the old Westlife, before The Rose. I <3 Westlife. Always have, always will. :D

v Repo! owns my life, at the moment.
Actually, it's...owned my life for a while, now.

I agree with you about the boy bands. It's weird though, for some reason, this time every year I find the urge to listen to Nsync. It's like a yearly virus or something. I know they are totally different than Simple Plan and Good Charolette, but still...
Anyway, what attracted me to this journal in the first place was the title. I loved the indirect Repo! reference! I haven't found many people on this site who like that movie too!
