No Army, Please!

Okay, I know that it won't be for a while and everything but. My boyfriend wants to join the Army right after high school...we are both freshman, and I just can't imagine not seeing him, and having him being in that kind of danger. I'm hoping that the war will be over by 2013, but you never know. But anyway...He wants to be a pilot, so I told him that he should go into the Air Force instead of the Army, but he is set on the Army. And I read all of these stories about people losing their loved ones in wars because they were in the Army, and it just makes me cry every time because I don't want to lose him, but I have no choice in the matter of what he wants to do with his life. I know I can pray for him all the time for good health and everything, but I still want to cry just thinking about it...I just don't want to lose him at all. He gives me meaning to live and if I lost him I don't know what I would do
