Lets See Where This Goes...
Here's a plan I've decided on for telling my friend. She's probably coming over my house tomorrow, so I might tell her then...but here's the possible results I've come up with:
1)She'll ignore what I said and start talking about her outfit, or her mahee (guy she likes. If I talk about him, I have to say yohee), but her ears will go red and it'll be awkward conversation.
2)She'll be like "Dude...not cool. Not cool." Then we'll start talking about how cool homosexuals are (because we do that a lot, I just never tell her about myself.)
3)She calls her parents to come get her, and we avoid each other for the rest of school years.
Now I'll tell you about a book I want you to read, because if I talk about her possibly shunning me anymore, I'll start crying.
The Outsiders is an amazing book written by a 16 year old girl that liked in Oklahoma back in like 1960-ish.
The main characters are as fallows:
Ponyboy
Sodapop
Darry
Two-Bit
Tim
Cherry and her Friend
Bob and Randy
Johnny
Dally (Short for Dallas)
It's about kids in the lower class from the rough part of town. There's drugs, murder, drinking, switchblades, burned down churches, and as my English teacher said to get us to read the book: Ponyboy gets jumped on the third page.
I read the whole thing today, so that's saying something. I usually read a book I don't really like in about three or four days, and ones I love are in a matter of hours.
Other Books I recommend:
Crank
Glass [it's a must if you read Crank]
Impulse
Invisible Monsters
Diary: A Novel
Survivor
Rant
Choke
Fight Club
Pygmy
Boy Meets Boy
Watchmen
The Umbrella Academy
Heart Shaped Box
The Catcher In The Rye
Dope Thief

Aw, I love Crank, Impulse, Boy Meets Boy and the Catcher in the Rye.
The Outsiders is pretty amazing, too. One of my favies.
Last year, my friends and I used to call this kid who dressed (and still does) like a greaser Ponyboy before we found out his actual name and became friends with him.(:
Best of luck telling your frieeeend.

Yay, Chuck Palahniuk!
I definitely need to check out the books you recommended.
I've read Rant, Catcher In The Rye, and I've read books by Kevin Brooks, but that's it.
We seem to share an interest in the same books. (:
