Off-track: Age
Age. The thing that divides all of humanity. Sure, there's race, but then there's that whole apple theory. Yeah, there's gender. But we're all equals as men and women, am I RIGHT or am I RIGHT?! (All you sexists out there: I'm watching you!) Then that leaves age. There are few similarities between the maturity levels of a thirty-year-old and a thirteen-year-old.
Age. Personally, I'd love to be older. If I was twenty-five, I could drive, drink (not at the same time of course *cough*) vote... Etc. (if you know what I mean). And, if I was older, I could justify my love of teen guy stars, and my fantasies would make a lot more sense (Pedophiles are another thing I'm afraid of, as well as lesbians.)
I love people that are older. Like, I'd love an older brother. But, as I was born before my sister, and my parents have absolutely no intentions of adopting (hint hint Blind readers), my wish will NEVER be fulfilled. If you are an older brother, your family's lucky to have you! If you have an older brother, I am so jealous. Yes, I've heard they're terrible, they're overprotective, they're annoying. But yes, I've also heard that they have hot friends, they're overprotective (good thing, for those with stalkers) and they're weird enough to hang with. My sister is eight years apart from me– not cool.
And no, I'm not going to forget old people. Old people are like... Awesome. Some of them are like weak and don't talk, but that's probably because you're too dumb to understand what they want to talk about! ;)

Being 13 means you have a whole lot less of responibilites,

Nah... when you get older you just wish you were younger again.
I'd love to go back to being 16. 16 was good for me, I really liked it. Now I'm nearly 20 and far out, I just want to go back to highschool so all I have to worry about it if the boy I have a crush on likes me, and the next homework assignment due.

I don't want to be older. I can still do all those things (except vote). They may be illegal, but I can still do them. Also, I have basically zero responsibilities.
I don't think age really seperates people as much as the other things. People normally don't dislike you because of your age.
