Why boobs are awesome.
Breasts.
The thought that sprang this journal.
Breasts and what they symbolize which is maternal nurturing, softness, vulnerability, and safety.
The breasts are the first thing that infants connect with, it's how a mother bonds with a child, how they express love. A mother exposes her bare, vulnerable breasts to this child in love, to feed and allow it grow.
The child only shares this experience with its mother, the mother only with her child.
Imagine this child is female. Shortly after she is done being nurtured by her mother's breasts, her maternal instinct kicks in. She wnts to nurture things as her mother does to her. Taking in small animals, playing with baby dolls, they are the precursors to the love she will eventualy feel for her children. She will probably carry this maternal love in some degree for different things her entire life, including her mate.
This is why, i believe, that females mature faster. It's not just hormonally, but emotionally. They recognize that their primary role is to nurture, and that is a responsibility that has been genetically blessed upon them since birth. They develop the vulnerability the emotional connection that breasts represent for the things they feel love for, regardless of if they are nurturing with breasts at all.
A woman connects like this for her entire life.
However, imagine the infant is a boy. This creates an entirely different scenario. After he is weened, he grows and is shaped into a far less emotional creature. His role is to protect, that is the part he plays. To be a man, he must stand up for his mate, show his piers that he is tough enough, which mean giving up what they view as 'weaker' emotions. He is responsible for protecting, whatever it could be.
Now, the amazing part is how the female-male couples interact. The male protects his vulnerable mate, and she in turn nurtures him. She is the one who is allowed to see HIM vulnerable, she takes him to her breasts, just as his mother had when he was small. She has felt this maternal connection with things her entire life, but for him, it has been a large gap from the time he had been distanced from weakness and the time he is allowed this maternal love, represented, once again, by breasts.
And THAT is why boobs are cool.
