Spike-Clarice Contest!

So I've noticed that Spike and Clarice have more or less disappeared from the scene in Operation Beautiful. As someone who went through hell to make a "Team Spike" t-shirt design, this saddens me. We need to bring Team Spike back!

The Contest Rules

1. Write a piece involving Spike. A vignette or a short story, doesn't matter.
-->I will also accept, if anyone's willing. A oneshot of what happened after Trevor dragged Haley out of the cafeteria to "fix" the "shirtless problem," lol.
2. It must be a one-shot. I don't care how long it is as long as it doesn't exceed one chapter. (Note that chapters can be up to ten pages in a book, so I think that's plenty of room).
4. It must be posted on your journal and linked to in the comments in this page.
5. It must be submitted by February 28th

The winning idea/piece will be linked to in the author's note of the story! (I would love to incorporate it into the story itself, but a small part of me is harboring the hopes of getting the series published someday and I don't want to have to deal with plagiarism or anything if that were to happen).

Ideas

•Remember in Chapter 40 of It Started with a Bet where Spike professed to having a couple police guys who "owed him"? It's the very last sentence of that chapter.
•It's hinted pretty blatantly in "It Started with a Bet" that Spike's mother died. How did that happen?
•How did Spike and Clarice fall for each other?
•Have any dramatic/cute scenes happened between Spike and Clarice while Corey's been off gallivanting with his post-it notes?
•Anything else you come up with :)
