Hi. I met The Cab.

Sonny, their tour manager, took us backstage after their set, we were like side stage for mayday for a few seconds, kinda cool. And when we walked into the green room Zack from ATL was in there. But I was more excited for the cab but the girl I was with loves ATL.

So I walk in and there they are and I almost teared up haha! I was smiling so big and they were all like hi!

And Alex DeLeon/singer hugged me first- he smells so good. And then I shook Joey Thunder’s hand and he asked for my name. And then we hugged.

And then Alex Marshall shook my hand and was like “Come here!” and pulled me into a hug.

And we just stood around and they asked if we liked the show while they signed posters for us. And I was like “YES. You’re so good live! You sound just like the album!” and Marshall was like “really? Wow, thanks!”

And then Joey gave me a drum head they broke on stage. And then Singer came over to me and was like “Hey sweetheart! Are you excited for the new album? We are, we’ve been waiting 3 years for this.”

And I was like “yes, it’s going to be amazing. I got the pre order!”

And then he kept saying “thank you”

And then he asked if I had seen them before, I was like “no, it’s my first show, I missed you guys last spring on the AP tour!”

And then I asked if they’d be tour to promote Symphony Soldier and Marshall was like “of course!”

And I asked if they’d be coming to Des Moines and singer said “yes! Des Moines is one of my favorite places to play!” on stage he said it’s full of beautiful girls and that he’d find his wife here.

and then Alex Marshall was like "ope! hang on!" then he licked his thumb and wiped the corner of my mouth a few times i was like ... he was like "You have pencil or something there!" so then i wiped it and was like "did i get it?" he was like almost! then he wiped it one last time. it was slightly awkward. but very nice of him haha!

Then I asked for a picture and they were all like “yes of course.”

So I got mine then my friend got hers and I asked them to sign my autograph book and Joey wrote “the cab loves you very much!”

And then I asked Alex DeLeon if he could write out lyrics for a tattoo and he said, “of course, anything for you sweetheart! What would you like?”

I was like “Don’t worry, just breathe.”

And while he was writing that Marshall asked where I wanted it, and I told him don’t worry on one wrist and just breathe on the other.

And then Alex DeLeon finished and he was worried he didn’t write it the right way since he didn’t know if I wanted a straight line or what. But I told him it was fine. And thank you and he was like “no thank you sweetheart!” and then hugged me.

And then we just kind of hung around and then the tour manager was like okay wrap it up.

And so Marshall was like “thank you so much!” and he hugged me. And I was like “can I get individual pictures?”

And he jokingly said “no! No way!” and he was like “just kidding, of course!” And then Joey was like “oh that was rude.”

And Marshall was like “she’s gonna be like man this guy is an asshole!”

So I got mine with Marshall and he hugged me and said thank you again. Then I got mine with Joey and we hugged then I got mine with Alex DeLeon and he hugged me forever and said “thank you sweetheart! It was nice meeting you.”

And when I went to leave Joey was like “this actually isn’t a drum head” and then he put it over my head so it was a necklace.

And I was like “new fashion on the runway!”

And Marshall was like “it looks good!”

So I said thank you one more time and went to take the drum head off and Joey pointed and said “you gotta keep that on!” so I did and once I got out I took it off haha. We were back there for like 15 minutes. best thing ever.

And then the rest of the night I kept smelling my shoulder because it smelt like Alex DeLeon.

While we were in there Zack from ATL informed us all he doesn’t eat ham because it’s too fattening. Hahaha.

Then after the concert we walked back to their van and wrote on it. I drew a cab on the cab’s van. Haha. And then I wrote them a little note. And singer jumped out at us from behind a door.
