I can't believe my mother just said that.
I was looking at a picture of my friend on myspace and my mom goes,
"Oh, that girl is a wack job."
And I asked why and she said,
"There were bandages on her wrist and she looked depressed.
She was a psycho."
First of all,
there were NOT bandages on her wrist.
Second of all,
she was not looking depressed in any way whatsoever.
Infact, the guy she adored had called her that night and told her
that he loved her more than anything thing in the world.
She was extremely happy.
But that's not why i'm mad,
I'm mad because my mother called somone who she thought was
depressed a 'psycho' and 'wack job.'
Mom,
depression is not psychotic.
It is an illness.
An illness I had for a very long time,
which you kindly ignored.
How dare she.
How dare she.
I am so angry will her right now,
I'm shaking.
You know what mom?
As horrible and awful as it sounds.
You were seriously a big part in why i was depressed.
I'm sorry I'm not the perfect little daughter you wanted me to be.
Oh my God.
I am so mad at her.
I am so mad right now.
I can't believe her.
I'm like,
going to pop.
"Oh, that girl is a wack job."
And I asked why and she said,
"There were bandages on her wrist and she looked depressed.

My mom does stuff like that, too.
I was getting teased at school and crying my eyes out
and she's like,
"What are you doing!?
Go clean your room!"
:/
-huggles-
Moms are mean.

my mom said something like that to me the other.
actually pretty much the same thing except different adjectives.
my mom seems to think that she can judge like that.
i went to the doctor for depression, and all she cared about what " you better wear your school blazer"
aka
" you better wear your proper school uniform and look smart, because if you look smart, then nobody can blame me for my stupid f*cking daughter. its not my proplem shes a twat" and other following things..
gahsh, mothers sucks.
im pretty much disowned at the moment.
she can't even look me in the eyes, just for exsisting and being true to myself.
and even at that she doesn't know half the sh*t, like the whole i fancy both sex's kinda thing.
hope your okay love, and hopefully not that fuming!

I understand, cause my mother is also like that. I just get very happy with my friends and brother~ Just don't let her words get to you, no matter what she say or do, you are in control! No matter how judgemental, how uncapable they are of listening to you, you're not alone~
:) I hope I made you feel a little better~

Mothers always think they know best and know everything just because they've lived longer then us. It's a typical parental thing to think that.
My Mom ignores my depression too...

Unfortunately people judge before they know....
as the saying goes, "Can't judge a book by its cover."
And too many people judge before reading......
I think a lot of moms are like that...its sad really.
Anyways, sorry to hear that!

My mom's like that.
So I know how it feels.
If she even knew how I feel when I'm not putting on a show for her....
I'm sorry she said that.

i know the feeling. i have a bit of an anger problem myself, and my parents usually play quite a role in that. i have had that shaking angry feeling too. many times. from my parents. and yes, parents are great at ignoring your problems.
