The 'R' Word
I really don't know what on earth is happening.
Some people joke about it. Some people don't take it seriously, thinking it will never happen to them. I'm starting to get really pissed off right this minute.
Peodophiles, rapist, perverts, murderers etc...They commited the crime, so they should get the punishment. But in the news all the time I hear that there getting out earlier. Peodophiles go in an area full of children, without the parents knowing who is lurking there.
Rapists are back on streets in no time, without people knowing who they are and what they are capable.
Same with perverts and murderers. What is this world coming to?
I know there's been alot of press coverage on this but surely if they are let out early then people in the community that they live in when they are let out should know who they are and what they have done. But, OHHHHHH NOOOOOO...thats not fair. Its not right to let out the details of a convict. It's to keep them in 'hiding'. They get given new identities, a new house, a new life.
What about the victims? Do they get given new identities? New lives? No, not unless they are actually threatened. There are forced to live their lives. Having the memories of what they were forced to go through. Sure, they get counselling and stuff but how does that help? It may make you a confident person on the outside but really on the inside your still haveing to remember it. Everytime someone mentions something to do with what they went through, they might laugh it off, but secretly inside their dying.
Rapists should be chemically castrated as soon as they leave prison. It's even legal in some countries. But why not in England? Stupid goverment. I hate it so much. They don't really even check where they live when they get let out of prison. One rapist is still living in my area. I've already seen him once. Whenever I go into town with my mates I always seem happy but inside im secretly going 'fuck, am I going to see him today.' It scares me constantly.
And I fucking hate jokes about rapists.

Some guy moved to my town a few years ago, he was a sexual offender. It was all over local news and cops followed him everywhere. The man couldn't really go anywhere, he ended up moving because he was too embarrassed.

Yeh but this is Britian...we don't have that kinda stuff. They all think they need to 'protect them from harm'.

there's a national registry online that you can go to, and it will tell you the sex offenders in your area. Oddly, i have 5 in my area, less than 5 miles from me. although rapists and what not get out, they have to register on tehre, and have "Sxual offender" plastered on everything, most end up comitting suicide cause they can't get their lives together with that stigma.
