Role Playing Games
I mean things like War Craft, or DragonFable. Why are they so addictive?
Well, War Craft isn't on my list of addictive games, because I dislike having to pay for the pleasure of play... aka I'm cheap.
But I have an account of DragonFable and I really enjoy playing it - most of the time, sometimes I find it rather tedious, and yet today I found that I was on there playing for a solid 5 hours, probably more if I wasn't told to have my dinner.
I have 3 character's on there, the one that I made when I first joined, the second I made as an after thought and the third I only made today because I have a cunning plan for a story... While they also have forums I have never really gone on them because you don't interact with anyone on there, you play by yourself, the computer brings in other character's that can fight with you and that's pretty much it really.
Now I am just wondering if there are actual computer games out there that don't actually involve people having to pay to play them.
I know War Craft is a major game played by a heck of a lot of people all around the world; but I'm also sure that there must be some RPG's out there that don't have to pay for, but are just as good. DragonFable is all right, but like i said before is a bit tedious at time.

I use to like Rune Scape. I was addicted to that. now I'm addicted to this shooting game called Heli Attack 3, I just played it for like a long time just now. thats super addicting. and sims 2 is addicting, but after a while I hate it, and I use to have pokemon on gameboy colour, and liked it. the problem with video games is, they entertain you in the short term, but they make you feel bad for playing them in the long term, because they are time wasters, stop you from being productive, etc.

Sims, so damn addicting D:
I think it's because you do things that you know you couldn't do in real life.
