MY recap of 2007
Wow... what a shitty year! Gay people aren't getting married legally anymore, this war is STILL going on, and gas prices are putting people in debt! Not to mention global warming. Don't even get me started on global warming.
That's political stuff... now MY stuff.
BAD-
I've admitted to being depressed, i've regretably self-harmed, everyone at school seems to think i'm a gothic lesbian, homophobia is off the charts all around me, my brother's decided to back in the army. and that's just the shit that i can remember. (I don't have a very good memory)
GOOD-
I've learned about my depression and i'm dealing with it, no more self-harming, i don't care what people think--it's just annoying as hell, i've converted people from homophobia.
My friend Julia and I have gotten closer over the year, we tell each other everything. I've had more fun in school than ever before with my gang of friends, i know what it's like to LIVE, and I've helped more people than i ever thought imaginable by starting the MCRmy Nurses.
So, politically it was shitty and America's going to hell, but on a smaller scale, it was pretty rockin'.
