What happened to Mibba?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that Mibba's Changing and its changing fast.

Since when did we yell at each other about our thoughts and put them down. I mean some I can agree, like maybe using words correctly for the right meaning (attually Im agreeing with this other girl who just posted a journal but yea I feel she was right).

But since when shouldnt we be allowed to say things on how we feel? Since when did people make other people feel bad? Look were all united or similar in one way or another. Why discriminate, make fun of or hurt? Why put people down?

Also when the hell did we start ranting on why people posted their journals? If you dont like what their wrighting its called the back buttion also YOU DONT HAVE TO READ IT Stop bitching and moaning on how you dont like what people are saying, or how they feel or what they should be talking about.

ITS FREEDOM OF SPEACH If you dont like it, go get a time machine and go back to when they made the amenment, and deal with it there.

So dont start yelling or ranting on me now because I feel I need to say this.

Also stop with this ohhh you like this band or this type of stories or why is people wrighting or labeling. Just fucking stop, grow a brain and use it. God are we two and mad because someone took our cookie?

mibba's super friendly now. I barely even know what you're talking about. Compared to Quizilla it's lovey dovey over here. And everyone loves the Admin and they make everything so easy and accessible here. I love it.

Mibbas not dying. It's become a better place. I like all the changes, because they're for the better.
The journal rules have come, because people obviously can't keep their mouths shut sometimes, and ranted and fought about stupid things. But sh*t happens, and there are consequences. If you don't like them, don't bother.
Dujo worked hard for what's on here now, and it made it even better.

I don't see what you all say. Yes, there have been a couple of fights, but that's what you get in a community or a family. Fights. Doesn't mean the fabric of mibba is deteriorating at all.

As for the myspace comment- it isn't. No one is forcing you to use the features Dujo slaved over for like 6 months. You don't want a top friends- don't have one. You don't want a layout- don't have one. Only want to post your stories- fine.

I like remember when mibba was just fans from the green day site and the mcr site.
and everyone almost knew everyone and it was the best.
there wasnt any hate comments or rants i dont even think half the stuff on mibba now

Mibba's normally really really friendly. But I think it's with all the new people coming, people have their defenses up. Once this flood of people stop coming people will probably gradually start letting down their defenses and start being nice to one another once again. I've never seen this many new people before, and I spend a lot of time on mibba. I don't think it has anything to do with profiles either.

I've noticed it's changed since the Quizilla kids have rocked up.
I have nothing against quizilla kids, In fact, I welcome them with open arms, but the environment at Quizilla is not a friendly one - I went over and lurked their forums. Some people are just plain horrible.

So yeah, that's why the environment's changed.

But I'm sure our niceness will influence them to become nicer over time.

I joined like a year ago and then came back because I thought
"hey maybe mibba updated some cool stuff"
but I agree it is becoming like a myspace but I never thought it would turn out like this.
now dont get me wrong mibba is great! but I just miss the old one.
I remember when mibba first started...and dude that was the best.

I agree. Everyone seems very defensive. The emphasis has been taken off writing and placed on status and arguments instead.

I think the reason is because we suddenly have a bunch of new people & it's kind of stressing out the story editors because they have to leave them comments telling them what to change.
And, no clue about the profile backgrounds. But, now I can't comment anyone because of the new profiles. So, I keep getting comments & I have to message people :|

Its sad because Mibba is sposed to be about coming in and sharing your writing skills. Not shoot others down,

Mibba is dying too. Has any one noticed that?

It's slowing and it's becoming more and more like myspace. I think a lot of people arent using it anymore because of that. Really sad.
