Banned from boards?!
So I don't know if this has happened to anyone else... but, I'm banned from posting on the boards for quoting without adding anything to the quote.
I assume, wait, I know that there is an obvious reason for this, but I have been so careful not to do anything wrong since the new rules came and I lost my editorship -grumbles-
I can't win on here.
Everything I do I get shunned for.
It pretty much sucks.
Like the WAYT incident the other day... honestly, that place is a cess-pool for drama -eyeroll-
I pretty much want to cry now.

You quote them because you're acknowledging that you're responding to their post. In the postsecret thread, it's extremely common to see people just quote. They just agree.

That sucks. I haven't done it yet, and I don't plan on.
It does make sense, the rule, because what's the point on quoting someone when you don't have anything to say yourself? It's just a waste of space, in my opinion.

The same thing happened to me... I had no idea that was a rule.

I don't get it on the pictures threads. The pictures are supposed speak, right? So why do we have to add more words?

That's the new rule. You can't quote someone without adding something of your own. Actually, that's been a rule for a while now.
