My night with MCR 5/3

The world is ugly, but you're beautiful to me.

They don't know how true that is.

Drew came to pick us up around 1:00 pm, and we had about a 2 1/2 hour drive. We got into St. Louis-- fully equipped with the boa, the KTF shirts, and KTF. Drew dropped us off about a block away from the venue and we ran into some KFC spin off restaraunt. We had to pee hardcore, and they yelled at us not to use the bathroom unless we were buying food, but we ran in anyway.

We ran over to the venue, and got to the end of the line... it really wasn't that long. We sat around for a freaking long ass time. So, about to the end of the wait, well people were walking around. I mean, guys in black hoodies are not exactly rare at an MCR show. Now, I did not see this, but I do know that it is a fact that BOB FREAKING BRYAR walked right past me and I did not even see anyone go by me. Molly noticed him, and thought it was him... but I didn't even see a human mass. So, that kind of makes me sad. But, then a teenie mob tried to maul him, and he got away. :) Which is a good thing because we do not want the drummer of My Chem dead.

Finally, the line started moving. They emade people either throw way their cameras, hide them outside, or put them in their car. Well, I had a camera, I did not have a car, and I was not about to let everyone behind me get in front of me. So, I threw it away. I know that sounds ridiculous, but try being in my shoes at that moment.

Drive By opened. They were... okay. The freaking drummer threw the sticks out into the audience. It bounced out of my hand, and then cracked into my head. >.< Pain.

Billy Talent came next-- THEY WERE FREAKING AWESOME!! They apparently had spent the past two days in St. Louis and loved it there. :) They plan on coming back.

MCR... oh my god. It just... I can't explain it. Mikey was there... Frank was there... Ray's fro grew... Gerard was beautiful as always. Bob was unharmed. They all were beautiful...

How much more beautiful could it get?

So, after the show, I just kind of... flopped onto the floor. I was like "ohmygodijustsawmychemicalromanceanditwassoawesomeiwishihadatimemachine!!!"

Just... amazing.

So, we held the binder the entire show, they saw it, too. Mikey kept staring. We kept eye contact, and he practically stared at me a quarter of the time. Gerard nodded at us, Bob kept smiling everytime we yelled "Keep the Faith!" We even got someone around us to scream it, too!

After the show, we went to this guy [who I think is the head of security] and told him "MCR specifically asked us to bring this book to this show. We've already gotten the first one to them and they loved it. We just aren't sure who to give it to." Yeah, a wee bit exagerated. But, oh well. They took it, and he said that he got it to their manager [Brian Schechter] and he was going to give it to them.

After the show, we waited in line for about an hour for a signing, but they kind of decided to leave and not do one. I don't really blame them to be honest. I was fucking tired, too. And in pain. And they're old, so it's kind of worse for them.

That was the night summed up. They heard us, guys. They saw us. And that makes me so happy.
