Insert band name here sucks.

How many journals must be posted about bands that 'suck' before people get the point that you're just going to get cussed out and/or banned?

Do I care that you hate My Chemical Romance? No.

Will you dissing Green Day make their fans like them any less? No.

What are you gaining from dissing bands on a site where you KNOW that they're liked? Nothing.

You're just making yourself look silly. Quite possibly you'll find yourself banned, too.

There are plenty of bands/singers that I myself, dislike. I don't find myself posting journals about it though. I'm not going to insult someone for liking the music they do.

It's not your business. Grow up, and get a life.

Especially without listening to the band AT ALL. I mean it's one thing to be like, I don't like that band because of the look, or style/genre of music...but to beat it down because it "saves people lives"?

Yeah, I know. I'm more into harder rock than most of the people on this site.
My favorite bands aren't so well known. I'm not going to tell people "LISTEN TO THIS!!" just because I like it. It's just immaturity.

Exactly. I mean, I don't like MCR, but I'm not going to go out and insult them just because people on here do. I respect that people like them, and no one here has ever criticized me for NOT liking them, so that's fine. I understand why the MCR fans got so annoyed by that journal.

Same reason I did, only my annoyance was towards the insulting of Green Day.

It's just dumb. It's cool if you don't like a band, but why sit there and say how much they suck, try to back it up, and list bands that you think someone SHOULD be listening to? Different people prefer different things. That's just the way it is.

I haven't actually seen too many 'I hate this or that' band journals, but you are right. Posting a journal about why a band sucks won't change any of the fans opinions, just irritate them. So, I do get where you're coming from.
