Hey there, I like your hair.

So I want to do something different with my hair.
It's kinda like a high school tradition.

9th grade: Natural brown color with red tips
10th grade: Short in the back; longer on the sides; black w/ blond high lites in the front

And now, the summer before 11th grade.
I want something like this:








I love the look, and it would be something totally different for me.
So, question.
In the back, what is it supposed to look like?
The same as the front, with the short layer on top and long on bottom?
Or is it just short in the back?
I'm really confused.

And now, a matter of opinion.
What colors should I do?
For the majority of it, should it be platinum blond or black?
Then the long layers..what colors should I dye them?
I wanted like..two colors..something like blue/pink, pink/purple, you know?
But I'd like your opinions!
I have a long time, because I need to let my hair grow.

So...help, please? ^^;;
