D is for Desmond thrown out of a sleigh.
Today was kind of kickin'.
Like it started out god awful.
Everything was going wrong.
My Dad was talking about cancelling my Hawaii trip, which is going to be my only vacation, and my Mom was just being uber rude.
But then when we got to the theater for the closing night of our current show, Cabaret, it alll turned around!
I don't know how it happened it was like intense.
First I was just having fun seeing and talking with everyone, but when I went over to my real "clique" that I hang out with my friends David and Leigh gave me this awesome present.
It's so cool.
It's a book of that alphabet I'm always talking about.
The one that I use as a background for my one shots and the titles for my journals.
I learned it by using these little printed out flashcards that David found, which didn't even have D (we looked D up online) and those two are so awesome they went out and got me a book with the alphabet!
I'm super happy! Now I'll always remember! lol
Then we were kind of chillin'
The show was awesome as always you know.
Like I was having fun pretending to be drunk and what not.
Then after the show, basically the rest of the crew introduced me to this way cool dude named Tyler. He seriously needs to be my new best friend.
Like he thought my over abundance of energy was funny and he applauded me for being able to not eat meat other than fish.
He's totally cool, he might even teach me Japanese.
That's like my dream.
And he likes Death Note!
Freakin' A! I LOVE Death Note!
Oh, and in the show for one of the costumes they wore these giant bows in their hair that I was totally in love with because they are ridiculously large, and one of the girls said I could take hers.
I wore it the rest of the night. It was amazing.
Lastly: Just as I was about to leave the cast party my Dad calls me and says that I can go to Hawaii, only I'm going later, but I'm staying longer!
Anddd if all of this works out I'm not just going to O'ahu, I'm going to Maui too!
I flipped!
The perfect end, ne?
I'm super happy.
So I'm going to go write now.

I'm guessing, from the title here, that you like The Gashlycrumb Tinies, eh?
You'd like the song A Gorey Demise by the fantabulous band Creature Feature, then. It doesn't follow the original wording or names, but they based it off of that book, and named it as such because of the book's author's alias, Edward Gorey. Check it out; I'm sure you'd like it. :)
