Atlanta Warped Tour 2008
Gah, it was amazing. I had so much fun even though it was ridiculously hot. I got sun burnt pretty bad. I saw The Higher first and their set was pretty awesome, even though the only songI knew they played last. From First To Last was pretty good. I hadn't heard any of their new stuff until yesterday.
Cobra Starship was next. I wanted to see them so bad. I had an okay spot...I wish we would have went over there earlier though. It was pretty amazing. I had noticed this Gabe look alike a couple of people in front of us when we were waiting to get in the gate. That guy and some girl got up on stage with Cobra to sing Travie's part in Bring It. Ryland made some comment about the crowd in his pants and Gabe said something like he was only suppose to have a place in his pants.
It was hilarious.
Then we went to see Katy Perry. She's amazing live too.
Next was The Academy Is.... I sat in on Gym Class Hero's set though so I'd have an amazing spot this time. I got right up front. I got some pretty amazing pictures of the band. William would come over to our side of the stage and I was pretty much staring him in the face,so that was pretty cool.
Family Force 5 was pretty awesome, too. I wasn't in that great of a spot, but it was still cool.
Mayday Parade was one of the last bands to play. It was so much. We were in the middle this time. I kept trying to avoid the crowd surfers. Then when they played Black Cat, they made a circle pit during the chorus. I got kicked in the ankle....and there's a bruise.Oh well. I kind of tried to stay away from them so I wouldn't get to hurt. But it was worth it. The band threw a half full bottle of open water and it hit me on the foot.
I can't wait until next year. Maybe All Time Low will play Atlanta next time. It was an amazing day.Any of you guys who haven't checked out Warped or any of the bands playing, do it.
You won't regret it.
I have all the pictures up on my myspace if you wanna check them out.
