Need Of HELP!

I need your guys' opion on this.
Lets say...
You and your mom hang out alot still...
And she gives you and friends drives ALOT.
...
but she HATES the music you listen to..and the music she listens to is TERRIBLE
And is a DISGRACE !!!
Kay this is true... My mom listens to RAP!!! -Eww-
And i listen to rock, punk, screamo, metal..
She hates that kind of music..
And she drives me pretty much everywhere if she isnt working...
And she will drive me to go pick up friends from different towns **Cough cough.. where you used to live.. not far...cough cough**
And your old friends SORTA like that music too..
But when your in the car,.. its your moms music that plays..
PLEASE SOMEBODY!!!! HELP ME!!!
I have tried SOOOO hard to get her to at least accept that i listen to it.. \
She accepts it now... But she WONT listen to it..

I need you guys to give me advise on how to change her mind about my taste of music only because I cant stand listening to RAP anymore.. She wont even let me LISTEN to my taste of music in the car :(

Your not giving her music much of a chance so she's not giving yours. Rap music isn't really that bad if it's eminem or something.

I guess you could ask if you could take it in turns. But to be honest love, it's her car. At least you don't have to walk to the next town or take the bus.
I know sort of how you feel though. My friends really liked my Mum and even asked me if my Mum could come along to this meal we were having. I put my foot down there now - no. way.

I just listen to my CD player whenever I'm in the car, so I don't hear much.

If you aren't making an effort to listen to her music in her car, I doubt she'll consider listening to yours while she's driving you around.
Try asking her if you can listen to one song or something,
but for me I have to listen to my ipod for my music.

Maybe if you were to find a band that does both. Like, the first one I thought of was Linkin Park. I mean, they sort of have rap-like verses, but are very rock-oriented on the chorus and music aspects. I don't know if you like LP, but I just thought maybe if you could find a band that would accomodate both your taste and hers, then you could come to some sort of agreement, ya know? Or maybe if you were to compile a mixed CD that has both rap and rock/metal/screamo stuff on it. Like, every other song be your favorites. I don't know if I helped at all, but it was a suggestion. =]
