gerard is fine, no shows are being canceled, want proof, come here!

ok, first off, i went to the mcr show april 22nd, 2 days ago in ft. lauderdale, he told us himself, right on stage that he busted a rib the night before and apologized for not so much dancing as he usually does all jumpy on stage. but he said they where still touring still performing.

While currently no shows have been cancelled, lead singer Gerard Way has cracked a rib. This is one of the many injuries that have plagued the band since the beginning of the Black Parade era. Audience members of the Fort Lauderdale show noticed a much more reserved Gerard during the show as he struggled with his pain.

Considering that taking a deep breath is one of the most painful undertakings while having a cracked rib, I applaud his dedication to the fans by continuing to sing as I assume this has become a most arduous task.

We wish him a speedy recovery.
