Well, has Twilight caused a commotion or what?
Twilight sucks.
Twilight rocks.
Everything is the same.
Yes, I like Twilight.
Yes, I found myself developing a book-crush on Edward Cullen.
But believe me, I'm not obsessed.
It's great that you all have your own opinions on this book. But seriously, can we calm down for a second?
I think this comes down to my fascination at how people can rant for ages about something they don't like. If I didn't like something, I'd rather go on and on about something I do love, rather than spend an empty time frame talking shit about what other people love.
So what if other people get obsessed with Twilight?
Are you still breathing?
I'm pretty sure.
So if it isn't killing you, why keep beating a dead horse? Lately I've noticed a number of articles hating or loving Twilight, Stephenie Meyer, etc. Well, I'm defending the fans here. Even if I wasn't one, I'd honestly still feel this way.
Basically, all I'm trying to say is...My god, will you people leave the damn book alone?! It may not be a classic piece of literature, but it surely isn't crap. Embrace the fact that people have found something they love, and can connect with others about. This goes for anything, not just Twilight.
I'd much rather bond with people over love than hate for something. I'm not trying to sound righteous, but I usually don't go off on something in a negative way unless someone asks me my opinion, and if they ask why I feel the way I do. And even then I keep my reasons short and sweet and straight to the point.
So ends my rant about people who rant.
I'm such a hypocrite. XD

Mm. I only wrote my article because I was sick of people asking me why I didn't like Twilight. And I didn't really focus on how much I don't like the series, only on how anti-feminist it is.
But I agree with you.
Even if it makes me a hypocrite. xD

I was going to call you a hypocrite until you said you were.
Haha, I agree.
