People write what they want.
I've seen too many journals complaining about the kinds of stories people write. Simply enough: don't read it if it bothers you, or if it's not your 'style'.
For instance: I've never been one to read slash, so I never read any stories that involved it. I'm not going to complain about it though.
There are ratings on the stories. There are summaries. If it's something that you're not into, don't read it. Not to mention, it's just a story. It's not real. It's fiction.
People write what they want. If you want to read something else, go to another story or write one yourself.

I agree, I've seen journals complaining about Frerards and stuff, I don't really like them so I don't read, simple.

Thank you!
Jeez, so many people were moaning about the Jonas Brothers stories... It was like... Okay and who is forcing you to read them, again?
Pfft. Silly People.

I gets it...
But it does get a tad bit annoying when all you see for pages on end are "I'm in love with Gerard Way...like OMG!!!!" stories or something....
but yeah.....

I have rants :tehe:
Just not about stories, and I back mine up with some facts.
So it's like a persuasive essay?
But I agree with the story things. For the USA citizens, anyone remember the 1st amendment?
Charmless., August 27th, 2008 at 02:53:17am
lol I've seen about 1000 of them since I've joined the site.
Half of them don't even make sense.
Geesecks., August 27th, 2008 at 02:43:19am
I've happy to say I've hardly ever seen that one done.
I think I've seen it enough in Articles.
The Guitar Man, August 27th, 2008 at 02:36:36am
Yeah, and most of the stuff people rant about doesn't even make sense. The 'homophobia' one is the most common one I've seen.
Geesecks., August 27th, 2008 at 02:33:47am
Yeah, it does.
I think there's a 'Rant topic of the Day' , here. It seems that way, at least.
The Guitar Man, August 27th, 2008 at 02:28:49am
That's true. It still gets old though. lol
Geesecks., August 27th, 2008 at 02:23:32am
You don't have to read what you don't like, either.
Don't read their journals. It goes both ways, y'know? =P
Anyway. I read things I don't like, and know I won't like. Even if I regret reading them, I'm still entertained in a twisted way. x)
The Guitar Man, August 27th, 2008 at 02:21:33am
Well they aren't all necessarily fiction.
There could be some completely factual stories on here.
But, ha ha, I agree with you.
Teh Edward Cullenz., August 27th, 2008 at 02:15:46am
I agree with you 100% I was reading a journal earlier complaining about the type of stories there are but if you have a problem with those stories then you don't have to read them. The story is there for people who do enjoy reading those type of stories, not for people who are going to complain about them.

Exactly.
