David Is Too Good To Be True...
“Uhh… Hi Kath, yea it is nice to see you too…” That made her pull away from the kiss. Sebastien had to ruin the moment.
“Hi Sebby.” She said walking over to Sebastien and giving him a hug.
“Hello.” Seb said as he pulled away.
“Hi David.” She said looking at David from far. David had no problem with her and neither she with him, but they just didn’t talk much, but sometimes they talked a lot, besides David was with a lot of things in his head right now.
“Hi, nice to see you again…” He said slowly. “Oh! Did you bring anything for me?” He suddenly changed his mood.
“Ha-ha, no David… Sorry.” He went back to sad David.
“Ok… It is nice to see you again anyway.” He said again slowly.
“Well, it doesn’t seem like it… Are you ok?” Kathy asked David who was looking away.
“Uh… No, I’m fine; just a little… I don’t know… Hi!” He said fast and mid hugged her, then pulled away faster.
“Ok…” She said and then looked at Azelia with a questioning look.
“This is Azelia; she’s a friend of ours.” I said walking beside Azelia and putting an arm around her.
“Oh… Hi.” Kathy smiled and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
“Hi. Nice to meet you.” Azelia answered politely.
“Nice too meet you too.” Kathy smiled and looked back at me, then hugged me once again.
“So… let’s go to the car, we have a lot of stuff to do.” Sebastien said walking out.
“Yes…” David said as he walked behind him, pulling Azelia along with him. “Let’s go.” He told her walking faster.
I looked at them leave and took Kath’s backpack and started walking with her.
“Hun, what’s wrong with David, is he mad at me or something?” She asked putting her arm around my waist.
“No, no. He’s just kind of upset and confused, you know.”
“About what?” She asked curious this time.
“Stuff, you know; I’ll tell you later. Now, tell me. How was your trip?”
“It was great, my mom was asking a lot about you, though…”
“That’s bad?”
“Annoying for me and it can get to be bad for you.” She said biting her lip.
“Well… don’t worry, I’ll meet her on Christmas, wont I?”
“Yes…”
“So, it won’t be hard. She’ll like me, you’ll see.” I said sure of what I promised.
“Ok.” I hugged her with one arm and kept walking, when I got Seb’s view again the three of them were running towards the parking lot, guess they’re playing.
“What about her, where did you meet her?”
“Long, long story also… I’ll tell you when we get home, ok?”
“Well, it seems a lot happened when I wasn’t here…”
“You have no idea.”
“Ooo… Mysterious.”
We got to the car. David, Seb and Azelia were waiting for us outside the car already.
“Dude, hurry up.” David said anxious.
“Yes, wait.” I took out the keys and opened the lock then ran to the other side of the car to open the door for Kath.
“Thanks sweetheart.” She smiled at me, it gave me chills.
“Whenever you want, my love.” I replied.
I went over to the driver’s seat again and got in, then started the engine, then drove to Katie’s apartment.
“Ok, I’m staying here with her. You can take the car, I’ll see you guys tomorrow, ok?” I said handing the keys to Seb.
“Cool. See ya buddy.”
“Bye. Bye Dave, Azelia.” I smiled waving at the backseat.
“Bye, it was nice meeting you, Azelia.” Kath smiled at them too and got off the car.
*David’s P.O.V.*
Pierre was staying with Katie and Seb took the wheel, I just stood where I was.
“Anyone wants to come in front?” Seb asked looking back at us… Why in hell does he has to do that!?
“No, I’m ok here, thanks.” I answered hoping she would say the same.
“You?”
“No thanks Seb. I’m staying here with David.” I loved those last two words. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
“Ok…” Seb started the engine and started driving.
He drove as I talked with her about random stuff; I think we have more much in common than what I expected… After some good 10 minutes there was a silence, but not awkward we were just out of stuff to talk about, at least nothing came to my mind.
“Hey, we’re almost there… I’m hungry though… do you mind if I go to an am/pm real fast?” Sebastien asked.
“No prob dude.” I answered.
“What ya say?” He asked her this time.
“It’s ok.”
He got into the parking lot and turned off the car.
“I’ll be right back. Do you want something?”
“I want water… please.”
“Anything for you young lady?”
“Ha-ha, no thanks Seb.” She smiled.
“Ok, be right back.” He repeated and went into the store.
“You don’t want anything?” I re-asked her just in case she regretted it and go behind Seb.
“No, I’m ok.”
“Ok…” I smiled and sat straight.
“Do you…” We both said at the same time. “Go ahead.” I gave her the word.
“No… you first.” She said calmly.
“I insist, you first.” I giggled.
“You first.” She giggled too.
“Seriously, I insist.”
“Oh shut up.” She chuckled.
“You know what? I’ll go first.” I laughed.
“Go.”
“Ok, so… I was wondering… Do you play any instrument?”
“Well… not really, I mean… I play guitar, but I’m just learning… so I’m not actually good at it.”
“Well… You’re showing me some of what you know at Chuck’s, ok?”
“No.”
“Ha. Why not?” I asked.
“I don’t want to…”
“Well… I’ll see you play someday.” I smiled evilly.
“Maybe…”
“I will… Anyway, what were you going to say?”
“Nothing.”
“C’mon, you were going to say something.”
“Forget it…” I wasn’t going to insist, even if I wanted to know…It could make her uncomfortable…
“Ok… Let’s put some music.” I said moving over to the front seat moving the keys and turning on the radio; I changed thru the radio channels, nothing got my attention, so I turned to face her. “This sucks… Do you have an ipod in that bag of yours?”
“Well… I do, but it’s not charged…”
“It doesn’t matter; the car can use its power.”
“Ok…” She looked thru her bag and handed me her nano ipod.
“Let’s see…” I plugged in the cable and the ipod’s light came; I went thru the artists… Nice… “Cool, I like you even more now.” I joked… I already liked her and a lot. She chuckled. Some great bands here… Green Day, The Used, No Doubt, Weezer, Blink, Papa Roach… She’s too amazing to be true… WTF, Shut up David! I put on Forever by Papa Roach just wanted to listen to it… not really thinking.
“I love that song…” She said looking into my eyes.
“I-I… Well I… Me too…” I stuttered dumbly and she giggled. I looked down and felt like shit.
“Hey, do you mind if you come back here.” She said to me patting the seat beside her.
“Uhh.. No. I’ll be there!” I turned up the volume and sat beside her.
“Ok, so are you going to tell me… what’s going on?” She asked worried.
