How's Work Going?
*Half an hour later*
I was putting the pasta in plates when I heard the door open.
“It must be Chuck.” I thought out loud.
“Hey sis! I’m home!”
“Hey Chuck, I’m in the kitchen.” I screamed back putting the plates on the table.
“Hi.” Chuck said walking up to me. He gave me a kiss on the cheek. “How was your day?”
“It was great. Pierre took me to this really cool restaurant to lunch and I saw and talked with Sebastien.”
“Oh! Yea, I was going to tell you about him.”
“Too late. He actually brought me home.”
“Oh… He did? Isn’t he your age?” He frowned.
“That’s right.”
“So… what was he doing driving?”
“Pierre borrowed him his car… his dad’s car.” I chuckled and bit my lip.
“How irresponsible those 2 are. He could’ve killed you!” He said in a serious tone.
“Shit it… responsible guy.” I teased playfully.
“I am responsible!” He snapped kind of angry.
“Yet, you borrowed me dad’s car once…” There was a short silence.
“Is that pasta?” Chuck walked towards the table and took a seat with a grin on his face.
“Ha-ha. Yes, that one’s for you.” I said pointing at the bigger plate. I took a seat next to him.
“Yay.” I handed him a fork and he immediately started eating.
“So, how’s work going?” I asked as Chuck devoured his food… Guess he is hungry hehe
“Well… Is actually going great… I’m interviewing MXPX guys next week.” Well Chuck works for this music magazine, he does a great work, but people at his job never count him as a guy who does amazing job, because he is the younger in the place… But this awesome!
“Oh my god! That’s great Chuck!” I said excited and happy for Chuck.
“Yeah! I haven’t seen those guys since… Reset.” Reset. Pierre and Chuck’s old band… is still going but none of them are in it anymore... Pierre threw out Chuck because they fought and then Pierre got out because… He is an idiot haha. No, I think he was getting sick of Phil and the new drummer guy… Yeah… Pierre is a little special… haha just kidding. Phil was a little annoying sometimes…
“So, you can interview people now!?” I asked as excited as before.
“Yes and that’s freaking amazing!”
“Yes! I’m so happy for you Chuck!”
“Yes, I know. That’s why you’re coming with me.” Chuck said smiling.
“Going where?” I asked confused.
“With the MXPX guys!” He said excited… Is he kidding me!?
“Are you kidding!?”
“No. You are coming with me next Friday. At 5pm.”
“Thanks Chuck!” I said as I was suddenly hugging him, he laughed and hugged me back.
“Pierre’s coming too… he convinced me… That bastard.” He said playfully.
“That will be great!” I said excitedly.
“Yes… I hope Pierre doesn’t get us in trouble…”
“He won’t.” I said not so sure about it…
“Ok. Eat your food then go to sleep, you have school tomorrow. I’ll go make the questions for the interview.”
“Ok… Can I help?”
“No way, you’ll ask stuff about their relationships, and I need to know about their music.” I laughed in a sarcastic way.
“Very funny Chuck…” I glared at him.
“Sorry, is my work.”
“Ok, whatever.” I went over to the sink and washed the dishes.
I went upstairs and went into my room. I put my PJs on and turn on the radio in a low volume and got into bed.
I laid there thinking about… David, he is the only one of my old friends I still don’t know anything about. I wonder if he’s ok…
I stared at the ceiling until I went unconscious. From far I could hear some door being open, but I wasn’t sure if it was a dream or I was still half conscious. I felt someone sitting beside me, I was going to open my eyes… but laziness won me. Next thing I feel is like if something was pushing my stomach lightly, I just ignored it.
*Next Morning*
I woke up at the light of the sun hitting my eyes. Again I felt something pushing my stomach and shoulder, I moved my head and there was Chuck hugging me with one arm and with his head buried beside my neck. He looks so cute. I’m glad he is my brother and not some asshole like Jacob… I love him so much.
I moved his arm and put it next to me, I saw the clock, it marked 6:00 am.
“Mhmmm.” I heard Chuck groan. I played with his hair as he woke up.
“Good morning Chuck.” I said staring at him as he opened his eyes.
“Mhm hi.” He said moving to face the ceiling and then rubbing his eyes.
“Can you tell me… What are you doing here?” I asked trying to sound rude.
“Ha… Sorry… I was just… remembering old days… you know, back when I was 8. I was thinking about that while I made the questions last night, so I came and next thing I know I’m sleeping here.” I stared at him with a non-believing look. “What? Is true… I miss hanging out with you… you know, lately I’m always busy, school, work. But last weekend I had fun with you and the guys.” I smiled
“Me too.” I hugged him.
“I love you sis.” He hugged me back.
“I love you too.”
“Now, why don’t you go get ready for school.”
“Yea, I love yous have a price don’t they.” I giggled.
“Haha. Just go get ready.”
“Ok…”
*Chuck’s P.O.V.*
“Get your ass downstairs big bro!” I heard from downstairs as I worked on my hair.
“I’ll be there in a minute!” I screamed back and close the gel thing and put it in it’s place. I ran downstairs jumping the last three steps and walked into the kitchen.
“Wow. Nice timing.” My sis said putting a plate of waffles on the table. Yum…
“Waffles!” I sat down and started eating. “Aren’t you getting breakfast?” I said after eating my first piece of waffle.
“I already ate.”
“Waffles?”
“No, cereal.”
“So… you didn’t eat waffles?”
“No, I made ‘em for you. I know you really like them.”
“Ha, thank you.”
Azelia’s P.O.V.
“You’re welcome. Have a nice day.” I said after I heard Pierre’s car by the garage, yes I already know the sound of the car…
“Ok, take care; maybe I’ll come home earlier today.”
“That’s great. See ya.”
“Bye.”
I walked into the living room, took my stuff and got out closing the door behind me.
“Hey!” Pierre screamed from the car.
“Hi.” I replied as I got in the car.
“So, you got the news, we’re going with MXPX!”
“Haha. Yea! I know!”
“Isn’t it great!?” Pierre kept talking about it all the way to school, I agreed with him on everything.
