My dad was just telling me about the time he went to Ed Gein's old neighbors. They told my dad that Ed Gein seemed nice and would bring pies over to their house. Think about that for a second. Yuck.

Anyway, there's a low budget movie out, and it's terrible. It wasn't even accurate at a few bits.

It's so disgusting that someone can do that to anyone. And the mindset that you'd have to be in to do something like is just unimaginable to me.

Well, if that isn't gruesome and frightening then I don't know what is. That's honestly the kind of thing that only happens in movies. Geez. XD Glad he's gone, haha.

He was not a psychopath, he was schizophrenic. ._. There is a deep, horrible difference between schizophrenia and antisocial personality disorder.

    This was really interesting.
It's sick how someone can do such a thing though.

this guys was gross. I can't even imagine how someone would make a window shade from human lips..I just don't understand how a parent can raise a child with such ...ignorant minds almost. his mother is to blame and I hope she feels guilty wherever she is (hell, heaven, where ever!)

Great, a whole column on serial killers now. How about a column about people who did good things?

Ed Gein was the inspiration for one of the charachters in the anime/manga Rurouni Kenshin towards the end of the series.

Seriously creepy dude but very interesting. Do you know of any books about him..?

Ed Gein inspired characters/events in Psycho, Silence of the Lambs and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Even though he didn't kill as many people as other serial killers, he's had the biggest impact on American popculture.

(I know a lot of serial killers)

Oh bloody hell. That man was mental!
It creeps me out knowing that there are actually men out there that do things you watch in horror movies.
