Personally, I think Messi is a fantastic player, and maybe people do expect too much of him sometimes. As for his height, who cares? It's soccer (or futbol), not basketball. His height should actually make him better. Now, Messi is great, but so Ronaldo, who is equally as awesome. I agree, Messi never compliments himself, he focuses more on bringing spotlight onto the rest of the team instead, yet that "humble" characteristic isnt always hidden on the soccer field.
