Glad they found him after sixty-seven years, finally. Must be terrible to have to wait that long to find out what happened.

Robert E.Lee was a general during The Civil War for the South. that was in the 1700s
and pearl harbor..now im not so sure but i dont think it has a thing to do with World War 2 what so ever. im like 98% sure
i didnt want to be mean but theres just some misunderstandings >.>

Wow. That would be kind of creepy to get this news. Are they still looking for people, is that how they found him? Or did his remains just...turn up?
Good article.

I don't get why people are calling you out for saying December 7th was the beginning of WWII when you didn't.

I must say, you did an overall wonderful job on this article! I enjoyed the read.

It's good to know that his remains were found, as well.

World War 2 started on September 1, 1939. Pearl Harbor was attacked on December 7, 1941. this was also one of the reasons we went to war. it's not the main reason but it is one of them. we first declared war on Japan and then we started to fight Germany because Germany was an allie to Japan.

very nice article by the way!!!

Oh, and in the beginning paragraph, you stated that the war had been going on for about four years by the time Pearl Harbor occured, starting in 1939. That can't be right. Pearl Harbor happened on December 7th, 1941. At best, that is a two year difference.

Perfectly Imperfect, you're right. December 7th did not start the war per se, but it did trigger the U.S.'s involvement in it.

I always though Pearl Harbour was what started the war...

I thought december 7th was the date of Pearl Harbor. Not the date the war started
