The thing about suicide this day in age is that so many people are saying their going to end their life just for attention, to look 'cool', or just for the thrill. It's taking attention away from the people who really need it.

It's hard to tell when people are being serious about ending their life...

I was just saying why they did it. I didn't say that they were justified in egging him on. Personally, I've been in situations where someone has repeatedly said they were going to kill themselves. It gets old after a while.

I think it's sad that he did it, but why did he feel the need to brodcast it? Was he waiting for someone to say, "No, don't!"? Did he want attention? There's lots of unanswered questions and personally if I had seen the video I wouldn't have told him to go on and do it, but I also wouldn't have tried to stop him.
It's one thing to want to end your life, it's another to show the world.

People get sick of seeing stuff about someone saying "I'm going to kill myself" because often times they're just attention grabbers who don't have the guts to do it. And if the kid was "sorry" for ending his life, he wouldn't have done it.

I would never encourage someone to kill themselves, because that would be cruel and plus I'm completely against the idea of suicide.

So! What if I told people ALL the time I was gonna chop off my hand? Then people starting egging me on cause the THOUGHT I was going to do it.
Sure as hell. I told ya I was gonna do it. I'm cutting off my hand! (End of example)
    Just saying...

Okay, I've only heard about one case of someone broadcasting their suicide. The kid had spoke about killing himself before and became quite a nuisance with it. People tried to talk to him about it, but he just wouldn't listen.

So, we he finally did it, people were egging him on, assuming that he was faking it because of how he generally acted.

This is so sad and I agree. <3

v Or they're screaming out to get help. People ask for help all the time about problems on the internet, but when it comes to suicide they're automatically deemed attention seekers. I mean, I know there's a good majority that do just want attention, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's that one kid that's not.

This is just my opinion now but,
I think that people who post their suicides online are screaming out to get attention.
    No offence though.
