This journal was a while ago, but I'll answer :)

I'm a donor because I have type one diabetes, so I know what it's like having a disease that's from one of my organs being screwed up. I figure if I die what am I doing with my organs anyways? So I'll let someone who needs them have them.

I'm going to get it. I won't have my I.D. for a while but I'm going to get it.

I mean, if somebody could my organs that are no use to me and are perfectly good, why not? Yeah, it makes me think about death and stuff, but what are the chances of me dieing young? Just because I have the sticker doesn't mean I'm going to die anytime soon.

My mom believes in it. My dad never did. Neither did my grandparents.

My brother thinks it's a good idea, though.

I'm gonna get it when I get my license. It's sad that I'm seventeen and don't have it yet.

paranoia.inflicted,Kvieta Vindi, My mom didn't want me to be a donor either, but I checked the little box anyways.She didn't find out till my i.d. actually came in the mail. She wsn't mad.But I guess she doesn't want me " in pieces" either.

I do feel good.I saw a video one time in school about it, and it showed interviews with people that were saved because of these dontations.It made me want to be a donor. :]

When I got my Permit a couple of months ago, I wanted to sign to be a donor. My mother didn't let me. >.< She says she wants me the way I am, in case I die. Not in pieces. It's not fair, because I'm all for saving lives. I'm going to become a donor sooner or later, whether she likes it or not.

paranoia.inflicted it's not up to your parents. Now that the new law has passed, you're the only one that has a say in the matter. If you want to be a donor, you should become one.

And you should feel good about being a donor. It might be a little uneasy to think about, but you could save lives.

It's not up to your parents, it's up to you. I think that's a brilliant thing you've done. I'm down to be a donor as well.

I don't know. I think it has something to do with the cornea. I guess they can do transplants now. Of course only if it's in good shape. Haha. No one would want my right eye since I have an astigmatism, too.

Why would anyone want my eyes xD I've got astigmatism.
and I agree, I'd rather give to someone who does needs.

None of my fam are donors. :\

I'm going to get it when I get my license at the end of the month. My entire family, I believe, are donors. I figure I'm not using it, if someone needs it they can have it.
I find it a little creepy how they can use just about everything now - even your eyes. I guess that's why there's the option of you can say what they can't have. At least I think there is.
