Josh Ramsay. He's a Canadian musician who overcame a heroin adiction and bulimia, and now he's the front man in my favourite band, as well as a producer and songwriter for a lot of other artists. He's just amazing.
And then there's my dad and brother. Both my brother and I take after my dad. Dad shares my passion for music, and he's where I got my talent from. He used to be a wedding singer (which is still hard for me to envision) and he played both the guitar and bass. My brother plays the drums, and got as far as independently recording a demo with his band before they had a falling out and he started his family.

Also my amazing parents, because my mom was once a musician, and that's what I hope to one day become, and my dad is just.... awesome.

I have two actually and they are both ironically named Danielle
the first danielle is my best friend. She is the nicest, smartest person I know who could never say a mean thing about anyone and is always happy. She always makes me want to be a better person and I feel so happy and thankful that she is my best friend because I couldn't have asked for anyone better.
The second danielle is the editor in chief of my school paper, which i am on. She is a senior, super smart, but modest, beautiful and charming. She is in charge, so she is really organized and efficeint and is not afraid to yell at us for slacking off. She is such a strong and independent girl that takes no crap from anyone and who I respect a ton.

She's so nice and sweet, and she reminds me of myself. I want to be like her when I 'grow up'.

I don't really have one. But my sis went through the same exact thing. ALL of my friends say she's extremely pretty, she graduated salutatorian from high school, she plays piano and guitar and sings beautifully, yet she still did what she did too herself. The reason I can't look to her as a role model? She treats the rest of the family like shit. But that's good that you can look up to your cousin. =)

Might sound lame, but Jesus. Because he broke the rules of society in a good way. Rabbi's then weren't supposed to eat or talk to, or have anything to do with people who were the outcasts of society, but he did anyway and didn't judge them for who they were because he saw beyond the surface.

And if there's honestly one thing I want to be better at it's seeing beyond the exterior people put up and seeing who they actually are... and then not judging that but just accepting it.

My mom. She's excellent. She's led a wonderful life, and she's raised two pretty great kids. (Yes, I just called myself great.) She's hardworking and honest, and she's taught me a lot of things.

I've always wanted to impress her. I wanted to make myself a better person because I knew she didn't like me doing what I did. I'd do anything to make her happy. And even now I still think of her every day and even though I don't ALWAYS do what's right, I'll sometimes wonder if she'd want me to do something or not. Of course I don't always listen but that's part of being a kid. d:

Okay, well, I've got three role models: my grandmother, my best friend Sarah, and Noel Gallagher.
My grandmother has fought through so many tough situations. She was told if she didn't abort her last child, they would both die. She didn't; fifty-two years later, my mother and her are still healthy and happy as can be. :)
My best friend Sarah is sweet, level-headed, and she balances out my heart-led emotional-ness. I want to be like her eventually, because she's just a better person than I am.
Noel Gallagher is just inspiring because he was able to quit cocaine on his own, he's written hundreds of songs that have all been really good, and he's mastered the guitar with no formal training. He's just so talented and amazing. The end. :)
