I don't know. They should make Vampire Kisses into a book. I'd love to see Raven & Alexander on the big screen. Or the House of Night Series. I'm personally addicted to Taylor lautner so that's why I stick around. if they would have got rid of him they would have lost a very vauleable fan

I personally think it's because of Bella. I don't mean offense to any Twilight lover...but I think it's her complete USELESSNESS. She appeals to dramatic teenage girls because she's depressed and thinks life is all sad and balh blah blah. And Then she's all Damsel in distress and can't do anything and she's sorta...(sorry guys) Pathetic. there is zero woman power like In Buffy and the other vampire things. Then Edward strolls in, sniffs her hair, goes all Peeping Tom and watches her in her sleep and keeps a car from crushing her and they fall in LOVE. And then when the break up Bella Tries to kill herself becuase she has no sense of self worth. I know it's true love and all, but any self respecting girl would be like " Fine. Dump me. I don't need you. I'll just find another vampire sexier than you".

Thats just my opinion on her. Sorry if I offended or anything,

My reason for loving twilight is just because it was an escape for me when I needed it. I haven't read any vampire stories before but yea I was just taken by it. Not because they were vampires or glittery. That's just odd.

I'm not obsessed with it, and I think it's creepy when girls(and moms) are. Its fiction. As far as what other people think, I don't think the writing is crappy. I think it's well written. It's just my indulgence when I need to get away from my life and go somewhere that is happy and everything works out. Even if it isn't real.

It's just four really great books that I love. I don't think that really answered the question =\ but that's why I like it. =]

Honestly, I can't come up with one good dang reason why I love Twilight so much. I just do.

Mm, maybe teens can relate more since Bella and Edward are highschool students? It's more centered around their age or whatever.
Personally, I love Edward's obsession with Bella's blood. :D

Emmett Cullen is gorgeous. Jasper is scary and mysterious, Alice is awesome with her overall bubbly-ness. The parents are alright. Jacob annoys me deeply, though Taylor is hot.

Edward has amazing hair, I think that because I have a hair fetish.
Rosalie is overall just sexy, and even though I'm a girl, I want to kiss the life out of her (I have to keep reminding myself that she's just a fictional character)

I think the attraction is the whole vampires not having fangs and them also sparkling. It's something new and different, that I don't think has occurred in a vampire fic before.

There must be something particularly intriguing to teenage girls about sparkling vampires I guess.

Perhaps it's the sparkling boys and the teenage obsession with men who wear glitter.

Or the Sookie Stackhouse series. I don't know what makes it different. I honestly don't.

I believe the answer is teenage hormones, most of the time.
