    Limewire crashed my whole hard drive once, but I still use it.
    It's not very common but it can wreck your computer, I guess I was just unlucky

    There are other ways to download music to your I-pod I use it all the time.
    One is www.Aimini.net. It pretty simple type the song into the search and then click the song you want. A new screen will open up and a download link will be there in gray. you might have to sign up for this site, but it's nothing serious. I have more, but they deal with converting videos from youtube into mp3s. Yeah so pm me if you want the rest.
