I understand what you mean. Avatar was a great movie, but I couldn't enjoy it. The animation style, the storyline, and characters, I really disliked.

I loved Atonement, truly, yet I don't plan on reading the book. If you saw what the film did do me, you'd be almost certain that the book would ruin me.

Oh, Atonement. I personally don't like the film, it's a good film don't get me wrong, but...it's just didn't do it for me. I guess it was the end, I don't really know, but I've seen the film and attempted to read the book. After getting through 100 pages of 'on chesil beach' by Ian Mcewan I know for sure that I'm never touching another book of his again. James Mcavoy on the other hand, well, he's just divine xP
