Also, to put the banner in your layout: When you go to make a new layout, go to the Story Title part, set the font to 0 and then adjust the first box in the Padding section to whatever number works. It's usually in the 100's.

I use phixr.com to make all of my banners. It's really simple and easy to use once you figure out all the buttons and things. :)
