My dad actually killed one of our Camellia bushes one time. He was trying to do a burnout in the driveway...

I feel your pain. While I haven't lost my side mirror(yet...), I did accidentally back over one of the bushes at the edge of my driveway. I sort of... ah, took half the bush with me when I backed into the driveway. Ooops. That wasn't a fun thing to explain to my parents either.
