Yes, developing software for TVs is very difficult and important at the same time. TV development causes a lot of problems. One of the first is the problem of fragmentation. Unlike the world of mobile app development, where iOS and Android have won almost 100% of the global mobile market, the world of smart TV development is much more fragmented.

I saw the hover ball for the first time this weekend and was like what are these kids getting themselves into now. My aunt actually bought that spin mop. The commercial makes mopping look like neurosurgery. XD
