    They need to charge so high because of people downloading music for free and burning CD's not many people actually BUY CD's anymore so the music industry need to make up for that somewhere else. Aka concerts.

    It's not even the whole band! Isn't their original drummer dead?

    I don't think it's for charity...if it was, it wouldn't be as much so more people would go.
    I remember my dad saying he saw them when they came to Chicago in the 70s. Only $2.

    I fully understand where you're coming from. I couldn't afford, not the tickets itself, but the drive to Nashville to see MCR.

    Well, they know that they can get away with it. So they think, "Why the fuck not?"

    Same thing with The Smashing Pumpkins, they are doing a show here, and they want about 200 hundred dollars per ticket.

    Also it means that many of their loyal fans won't get to see them for he last time. I think they are the most important people, it doesn't matter how much dosh you have in your pocket. I mean these guys are made of money, why do they need to charge so high?
