I'm not sure yet, I'm trying at this moment the mini green house thing as well as continuing to use the soap:water spray. I'm going to take some pictures and post another blog in a few minutes. I'll have to give it a few days and see. Worst comes to worst I'll start over with the tomato plant, we have another one of those pods in the pantry.

That might work :) It gets like 110? (45 celcius) here lol so that's why I'd worry. Should be okay. Tomatoes like warm anyway I believe. Better than being eaten!

Oh man, it's in the mid-high nineties right now lol. And they are on the porch (which is covered by it's own roof) but at certain times of the day the sun does hit them, so maybe 7 hours give or take of sunshine/day. I'm not totally sure when exactly the sun hits them :/. What if I did the bottle thing but cut the top off so they could have air and put cheesecloth over it?

Could be birds if they're that tiny. It it's slugs/snails then a circle around the container of salt will keep them out. I'm not sure you'd need holes. Depends what kinda weather you're getting, too. Here it's winter so it won't get too hot for little plants under plastic covers. If it were summer, I'd think twice. If they're not in direct sunlight and it's not too hot, it probably couldn't hurt. Shoudn't need holes as plants produce their own oxygen. Maybe refresh by lifting it just when you water.

The sprouts are about 2 inches tall right now, and honestly I have no idea what's eating them. I just walk outside and there are a bunch of bites taken out of the leaves. And thank you for the tip about the mini green houses! Would I need any holes in the container?

Those seaweed solutions are great for plants. Don't know about them providing bug protection though... What kinda bugs? You can get snail bait (organic friendly) for them. For aphids etc I always heard that dish soap worked.

How big are your tomato plants? You could try create mini greenhouses around them using plastic milk cartons or bottles which would keep the bugs out.
