@ steve rogers. If we happen to be taking anywhere close to the same classes I could send you my books! But we live in different countries so I feel like they're probably different astronomy sounds like a really cool class! Googling is pretty sketchy all the time, it just depends what you're looking for
I've made it my mission to comment on at least one of the two tonight
PSYCHOLOGY. I'm going to major in Psychology. I need all my pre-req classes and also some electives (I'm thinking astronomy and maybe theatre since I have 3 units to transfer for intro to theatre.) Ooh, hm I don't think mine does but I'll stop by the City Hall and ask~ Sometimes? Google scares me
I have... I forget I got so preoccupied with challenges!
@ steve rogers. I have a few. I have an old chemistry textbook, some psychology textbooks, and a couple others I think. What subjects are you taking? My community has a scholarship fund through the charity foundation they set up, so I'd check and see if anywhere in your town/city does anything like that. And googling helps as well, but that gets kind of sketchy sometimes. I'm lucky and live in a small town so it's pretty easy to find scholarships.
Gah I know, I have 2 stories that I haven't commented on and I just haven't been able to get into them and I feel so bad
Did you say textbooks? What subjects? Omg because I'm going to be enrolling soon and like, I feel like used textbooks are going to save me. Do you know anything about how to find scholarships? My school was actual shit with finding mine. They found everyone else scholarships except us minorities.
I'm with you on that Culture Month giveaway front though I'm so ashamed.
@ bellamy blake I HAVE NO IDEA. Usually I get nothing done but I've been feeling super productive the past couple days
We used to have the trigger lighters but they disappeared so no more candles for me I make my own dentist/doctor appointments, but I just don't go to the dentist because I hate it
@ Michael Westen Thaaanks
I'm a firm believer in having a high school class that actually teaches you how to win in the real world
Thank you! I'm gonna comment on a couple of your stories anyways because I've been meaning to read them
Congrats on getting all that done I'm with Kandi, you're level of productivity is insane.
I hate using lighters mainly for that reason. Unless it's one of those super long ones used for lighting... I'm not sure what they're used for. I don't have any idea how healthcare works either. Being an adult is hard. Why weren't we ever taught how in high school, seriously.
You are such a wonderful person! I totally think that sounds fair, but I won't be asking for any comments back. I'm going to try and read some of those tomorrow
First off, I'm insanely jealous of your level of productivity HOW DO YOU GET ALL OF THIS DOOONE, HOOOWW??
Second, if it makes you feel any better, I can't use a regular lighter either Like, they really just blow my mind and I can't quite wrap my head around how to use one. I have to buy those trigger-type lighters to light all my candles around the house with And I only learned how to do the rest of the "adult stuff" you listed in the past year or so I know healthcare because that's my job, I had to get actual real-deal health insurance this year and manage my own dentist/doctors appointments, and I filed my taxes separately from my mother for the first time this year, so I had to do that
But if you happen to be taking a developmental psych class and can get away with international textbook usage I'm your girl!
We got this
